However, there's another lesser-known gem that's worth a visit if you're in the vicinity. Par, a former port town nestled on Cornwall's south coast between St Austell and Fowey, may be small - with just over 3,000 residents across Par and nearby Tywardreath according to the 2021 Census - but it certainly packs a punch when it comes to things to do.
