May is now appearing on the horizon, which means this year’s Great Escape will be with us very soon. Yesterday 120 more artists were added to the bill, including Alfie Templeman, Blackhaine, Chrissi, MUNA, Spill Tab, STONE, Bru-C, Casisdead, Kid Kapichi, Lido Pimienta and many more.

MUNA, Alfie Templeman, Willow Kayne and Stella Donnelly lead the latest additions to The Great Escape festival’s 2022 line-up.Today (March 3) the festival announced 120 more acts for the annual new music festival that’s held across multiple venues in Brighton.Also joining the event is Kid Kapichi, Blackhaine, Chrissi, Casisdead, Lido Pimienta, Ajimal, Lauran Hibberd, HighSchool, Billy Nomates, Bob Vylan, Porij, spill tab, STONE, Bru-C and Penguin Café, and many more.In January The Great Escape announced other additions including Yard Act, The Amazons and Rebecca Black will play the festival, which runs from May 11-14.Announcing 120 more artists joining us at #TGE22!

Community Festival has announced its return for 2022 with headliners Two Door Cinema Club alongside The Wombats, Pale Waves and more.After an enforced two year break due to COVID, the indie festival will return to the capital’s Finsbury Park on Saturday, July 16, set over two stages.Two Door Cinema Club, who previously headlined the event in 2018, return for 2022, and commented: “We’re so happy to be headlining Community Festival! It’s been a rough couple of years for live music so we’re very excited to get back to doing what we do best. The lineup is fantastic and we can’t wait to see some of the best established and newest bands.”The Wombats added: “We’re so excited to be heading back to Finsbury Park this July to play Community Festival with such an amazing line up! Stereophonics and Anne-Marie are set to headline Big Feastival, a music and food festival hosted by Blur’s Alex James on his Cotswolds farm.The Human League will join them at the top of the bill while special guests Sugababes will also perform at the festival, which is set to take place August 26-28.Stereophonics will play the Sunday night and Anne-Marie will close Saturday, while The Human League are set to headline the Friday night.Also appearing across the weekend are Alfie Templeman, The Futureheads, The Sherlocks, The Lottery Winners and Lola Young. Alfie Templeman has announced details of his debut album ‘Mellow Moon’ and shared lead single ‘Broken’. Alfie Templeman has teamed up with Irish songwriter April on a new track – listen to ‘One More Day’ below.The song appears on Templeman’s imminent mini-album ‘Forever Isn’t Long Enough’, which comes out next week (May 7) via Chess Club.“‘One More Day’ is the most subtle song on the record,” Templeman said in a statement. “I wanted to make something that sounded like the soundtrack to a sunset.“April made the song that extra bit special, her verse and harmonies really complimented the track and helps you to see its context really clearly.”April added: “I love Alfie’s music so when he said he had a song for me to feature on I was so excited – I was instantly hooked.

More details have been announced about the line-up for the online edition of The Great Escape that is taking place next month. More than 150 acts will feature across a series of online showcases on 13 and 14 May.Spotlight artists among the line-up include Alfie Templeman, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Genesis Owusu, Remi Wolf and Priya Ragu, while Alexander 23, Jensen Mcrae, Robert Grace, Sir Chloe, Tayo Sound, Teeks, The Lottery Winners and Peach Tree Rascals have all also been added to the bill.
