Perrie Edwards has said she thought she was "going to die" as she geared up to hit the road for the last time with her Little Mix bandmates. The pop songstress, 28, who is currently just one week away from their final performance at London's O2 Arena on Saturday, May 14, welcomed her son into the world just eight months ago.Perrie has revealed she found getting back into the swing of performing extremely difficult and joked that she should have had a medical note allowing her to take things easy.

Speaking ahead of their upcoming shows at Manchester's AO Arena, she told The Sun: "I feel like me and Leigh-Anne [Pinnock] should have had a note from the doctor saying: 'Perrie and Leigh have baby brain, go easy on them today.' "Baby brain is real, Jade would pick up the routine in two seconds and we'd be there for an hour doing the simplest of things and then totally forget what it was."She added: "I've never struggled so hard for a tour, I thought I was going to die," before explaining hers and Leigh-Anne's minds and bodies were not prepared. The bandmates welcomed their children just weeks apart in August 2021, with the pair initially keeping their pregnancy under wraps while filming their Confetti music video. While Perrie believes her body and mind were not ready to entertain thousands of screaming fans, the Little Mix Confetti tour appears to have been a hit, selling out across the nation.Speaking about their time as a band coming to an end, Perrie told Metro: "It feels bittersweet, we're excited about the future, but we just can't stop crying, to think we're not going to be with each other 24/7 anymore is quite scary."Due to coronavirus restrictions in place across the world, The X-Factor winners have not been able to tour.
