Liam Gallagher has decided to give up his famously wild lifestyle in the lead up to his show-stopping Knebworth gigs. The Oasis icon will give up alcohol and substances until he takes to the stage in June as he wants to be able to give fans his best performance.
The 49-year-old is set to perform in front of up to 160,000 fans at the Hertfordshire venue and he wants to be at on tip top form.
As reported in the Mirror, Liam's sobriety is just the start of his lifestyle change ahead of his gigs as he is set to hit the gyms to ensure he is fighting fit for the shows.
As well as his gigs in Knebworth, the legendary rocker is set to perform at Glasgow stadium Hampden Park before jetting off to Europe. "I've got a month to prepare for Knebworth so I'm going to stay out of trouble, stay in the house, chill out, eat well, do some exercise and not drink alcohol or do any of that nonsense," he told The Sun. "As you get older you've got to prepare right for these gigs.
