Pep Guardiola indicated that Manchester City need to be better at taking chances rather than creating them after two games without a goal.
The Blues have netted a very respectable 37 goals in 15 games across all competitions, averaging two or three every match. However, those have all been scored in just 10 games with five being put past each of Arsenal, Norwich and Club Brugge — as well as six being netted against both Wycombe and RB Leipzig.
In contrast, Crystal Palace became the fifth team to keep a clean sheet against City after Spurs, Southampton, PSG and West Ham, meaning Guardiola's side have failed to score once every three matches this term.
