A specially commissioned, pre-recorded performance from the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra will provide the soundtrack to this year’s Hogmanay fireworks display at the National Wallace Monument.The Monument will be the backdrop to BBC Scotland’s New Year celebrations following last year’s similar arrangement which drew in 1.5 million viewers from across the country.Like last year’s celebrations, the event is closed to the public with all encouraged to watch from the comfort of their homes.The performance from the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra will feature tracks from Scottish artists such as Hue and Cry, Calvin Harris, Biffy Clyro, Lewis Capaldi and Snow Patrol as a fireworks display, supported by EventScotland, is set to light up the
