Speaking at FMQs in Holyrood today, Labour MSP Jackie Baillie asked the First Minister why licensed cafes in her Dumbarton constituency would be forced to close under the new rules.
She said the reality for businesses around Loch Lomond was "99% of what they do is about food and only 1% is about alcohol" and asked if there was a way for them to suspend their licences and continue to trade by offering food only.She added: "Otherwise they may have to close their doors.
