Some fans went online today to discover hundreds of pounds had vanished because the club have not frozen direct debit payments.
Now the Newcastle United Supporters' Trust are calling on Magpies owner Mike Ashley to follow the example of so many businesses and give fans a financial holiday.
They are demanding the suspension of all season ticket renewals and all payments on future purchases with immediate effect with the coronavirus causing so much hardship across every society.
