Netflix has been urged to apologise over a scene in The Crown. A royal expert branded the scene, which depicts Prince Philip in his teenage years, "shockingly malicious" and insisted the streaming giant should issue an official apology.
The Crown's four series so far have followed the crowning of Queen Elizabeth II, her marriage to Prince Philip, and their history up until the late 1980s.
During the second series, fans were treated to a flashback scene, in which we got to see Prince Philip in his younger years following the death of his sister Princess Cecilie of Greece and Denmark in 1937.
She had died in a plane accident aged just 26, with her younger brother Philip 16. Amid the drama it's suggested that Andrew, their father, blamed.
