Naga Munchetty reveals BBC Breakfast 'rule' after fire alarm chaos interrupts interview

BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty made a hilarious confession on Friday morning after a fire alarm went off during MP James Heappey's interview.James appeared on the show via video link to discuss the latest developments of the Ukrainian humanitarian crisis and what Britain has done to help.However as the MP got further into the discussion with Breakfast host Charlie Stayt, the fire alarm test went off in his building leaving him "embarrassed" as he apologised profusely for the noisy disruption.But as the interview came to a close Naga mentioned to Charlie that they manage to have "control" over the fire alarm status at the BBC and it doesn't go off while they are both on air.To finish the interview, Charlie said:"James Heappey, there's not much we can be certain about at the moment but we can at least be certain that the fire alarm system in the Ministry of Defence is indeed operational.

Interrupting the presenter, James responded: "I'm so sorry, sorry!" Charlie responded: "It happens, thank you very much for your time." But as Naga and Charlie laughed about the calamity James was in, Naga said: "It's just reality isn't it, eh." She continued: "No fire alarms, we actually manage to have control of the fire alarm status when we can here.
