It looks as though Irish actress Nadia Forde has been kept rather busy during lockdown as she has announced a new project. The mother-of-one has created her own comedy show for RTÉ called The Lido, which is set in Dublin and is based on Nadia’s own family history.
The upcoming series centers on an Italian-run Fish and Chip shop in 1980s Dublin, as well as family relationships and rivalries in the Italian-Irish community.
The comedy series will deal with everyday issues including themes of immigration, equality, and family loyalty, and it is being described as heartwarming and charming, as reported by Deadline.
