A woman's decision to start a family has stirred controversy as she was labelled "selfish" for her approach.Rather than announcing plans to relocate herself, she insisted that her roommate should vacate their shared dwelling - ignoring the fact that her roommate's name was on the lease.
Taking to Reddit, the astounded roommate narrated how her pregnant flatmate requested a conversation about their living situation.
She assumed the roommate was moving out given her pregnancy, but was taken aback when asked to pack up instead.She said: "I'm on a terrible salary and cannot afford anywhere else to live, plus like she wants me to move out right now so she can prepare for the baby.
Even if I wanted to move out now, the apartment rentals in my area are either too expensive or well below living standards so I don't want to move.She was accused of "ruining the motherhood experience" for the expectant mum by refusing to vacate their shared home.
