A Manchester band turfed out of their rehearsal space have packed in their day jobs and set up their own studios in response.
Manc rockers IST IST used to rehearse in Brunswick Mill, on Bradford Road in Ancoats, before it closed down in early March ahead of a multi-million-pound redevelopment.
Currently, plans are in place to convert the former cotton mill into 277 apartments as part of a £58 million scheme. The closure of the Victorian behemoth has forced Brunswick Mill Studios to relocate to Salford, and IST IST are following a similar route.
