BreAnna Bell SWV has finished the first season of its reality series “The Queens of R&B” and, if there’s one takeaway fans can gather from the show, it’s that it was never about social media hype for the Sisters With Voices. After its March debut, a series that began as a chance to capitalize on the female empowerment of SWV and Xscape’s clash transformed into a social status competition, as the two groups went toe-to-toe for the title of headliners. The added drama of Xscape’s internal issues also took center stage as fans attempted to keep up with the building tension between sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott. The season concluded Sunday night, as the groups finally came together to perform in Ontario, Calif. Despite being on a time crunch with several issues unresolved, the two sets of singers put together a performance that left their audience and each other satisfied.

Xscape rocked VERZUZ viewership records with their 2021 hit-for-hit duel, the supergroups have reunited to hit the stage for the ultimate «one night only» concert event -- an undertaking chronicled in their new Bravo reality series, .The series follows the original lineups of the iconic '90s supergroups -- Kandi Burruss, Tameka «Tiny» Harris and sisters LaTocha Scott-Bivens and Tamika Scott in Xscape, and Cheryl «Coko» Gamble, Tamara «Taj» George and Leanne «Lelee» Lyons in SWV, as they navigate their business, professional and personal lives — on top of preparing to hit the stage. «It was a great idea to do [after] VERZUZ [because] I think everyone loves seeing the two groups onstage together,» Taj tells ET. «So why not give them a little extra whip cream on it? Put a whole show together, let them enjoy that!»Neither group is new to a reality series -- SWV appeared in the WE tv series  while Xscape starred in  which aired on Bravo in 2017.

Bravo dropped the trailer for their new limited series SWV & XSCAPE: The Queens of R&B and the stars are seen clashing. The show is set to premiere on Sunday, March 5 at 9:30 p.m. ET and you can watch a preview in the video posted above.

The R&B group Xscape is not breaking up despite LaTocha Scott distancing herself from the band following a dispute over a promoter, according to a new report.The girl group, comprising of Kandi Burruss, Tameka 'Tiny' Cottle, LaTocha, and Tamika Scott, sparked breakup concerns after fans noticed LaTocha, 49, was missing from a poster advertising an upcoming tour, reports TMZ.Insiders told the site LaTocha is still a member of the group but has taken a step back following a disagreement with the band. Minus one: The R&B girl group Xscape is not breaking up despite LaTocha Scott distancing herself from the girl following a dispute over a promoter, according to a new report; pictured May 2022 The women, who are going to be starring in a new reality show set for release next March, began experiencing conflict after they decided to go ahead with a small tour and had selected a promoter who ended up experiencing conflict with LaTocha's husband.  LaTocha, who was set to join the tour, asked the group to drop the promoter but ultimately decided to pull out when the others agreed to continue using him.  The group also reportedly declined a request made by LaTocha to go by a different name as she would not be joining them.

An Xscape and SWV showdown is happening.After months of speculation surrounding a Verzuz battle between the two groups, Xscape's LaTocha Scott confirmed her group is indeed going head-to-head with SWV.'We're getting ready to do this Verzuz battle with Xscape and SWV! It's going down May 8th,' LaTocha told TMZ while in New York on Wednesday.

Fans have been wondering if Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris, 45, would ever join Real Housewives of Atlanta alongside Kandi Burruss, 44 — but she confessed she would “never” consider doing the series full-time. “I would never do that and be a ‘wife on there but I would definitely do some episodes. I have some friends on there,” Tiny confirmed in an EXCLUSIVE new interview on HollywoodLife‘s TVTalk. “One of my sisters is on there — Kandi, so I would always go on there if she needs me or wants me to come on, I would definitely appear on there,” she added.
