A homeless women whose dismembered body was found in two suitcases had her dream of becoming a paramedic dashed after falling into a life of drugs.

Phoenix Netts, 28, was found dead at the Forest of Dean near Coleford, Gloucestershire last Tuesday sparking a murder investigation.

It emerged that Netts, originally from Croydon, south London, had been living in a women's refuge in the Lozells area of Birmingham for a number of months before her death.

Police reportedly fear she had been dismembered. A post-mortem into the cause of death has been inconclusive. An ex-boyfriend of Netts described her as a 'kind spirit' who'd had a troubled youth but was ‘always vulnerable and easy to exploit.’ The former partner, known only as Joe, said they had
