Wendy Williams' Rep Gives Update on Her Podcast and Possible Return to TV

Wendy Williams' rep is updating fans on what the 58-year-old TV and radio personality is working on these days, including the future of her possible podcast and if she is planning a return to television. «We are still working behind the scenes on several projects,» Shawn Zanotti tells ET. As for reports that her podcast,  has been canceled, her reps adds, «There has been no official cancellation of the podcast.»As for a possible television comeback, Zanotti says that «Wendy does desire to return to TV.»Williams was also recently spotted at The Townhouse in New York City.

Kevin Hunter is slamming the production company behind ex Wendy Williams' daytime talk show for their handling of the series final episode.Hunter exclusively tells ET, «I feel like it is a travesty on the part of Debmar-Mercury to have such an unceremonious departure without Wendy being involved.»«It is the first time in the history of talk shows for this to be done, especially for a show that has been on for more than 10 years,» he adds. «There is absolutely no reason why a bigger celebration that involved Wendy couldn't happen.»Hunter continues, saying that, as a co-creator of the show, «I know the blood, sweat and tears that went into making the show such a success, [and] I am not happy with the way the show is going out on a personal level and I am truly sorry that the show's fans have to see it go down the way that it is.»In March, Hunter filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against Debmar-Mercury -- the producer-distributor of — for unlawful termination. According to court docs obtained by ET at the time, Hunter claimed that Debmar-Mercury's decision to terminate him was on the basis of his marital status.In his remarks to ET on Thursday, Hunter states that the production company has shown «a lack of professionalism throughout the process and in the way they are letting Wendy go out.»Hunter claims that the production company has also «shown a lack of support both health-wise and in keeping the integrity of something so precious that me and my ex-wife created and worked tirelessly and relentlessly on.»ET has reached out to Debmar-Mercury for comment.ET can confirm that the final original episode of will air on Friday, with a video tribute to the iconic host.

Wendy Williams has filed for a temporary restraining order against Wells Fargo in her battle over access to her cash.According to legal documents, obtained by ET, the 57-year-old TV personality's asking the judge to order Wells Fargo to «reopen any frozen accounts or assets» and grant Williams «access to any and all accompanying statements.» She also wants the bank to be barred «from freezing any and all assets which contain funds that were removed and/or withheld» from Williams' own personal and business accounts.The request comes after Williams filed a legal letter in court, and obtained by ET, in which Williams claimed Wells Fargo denied access «to her financial assets for weeks without providing her or her counsel with adequate explanation or evidence to support its decision.»In doing so, Williams said she and her family will face financial hardship due to her inability to make payments on outstanding debts and other financial obligations.This all stems from Wells Fargo initially filing a letter in court, claiming it has strong reason to believe Williams «is the victim of undue influence and financial exploitation.» The bank claimed it took the dramatic step because Williams' financial advisor «recently witnessed telltale signs of exploitation, including [Williams'] own expressed apprehensions, but also upon other independent third-parties who know [Williams] well and share these concerns.» In court docs, Williams claimed that financial advisor was terminated due to her «malfeasance in relation to [Williams'] accounts and [her] improper conduct in relation to their professional relationship.»Williams also claims Wells Fargo «continues to rely on Schiller's advisement as support for its decision to deny» Williams
