At around 9.55pm yesterday (Tuesday, April 19), officers attended an address in Spring Gardens following reports of a disturbance."Inside, officers found three people deceased and evidence to suggest a serious assault had occurred."The deceased are a man and a woman, both in their 60s and from Bourne End, and a man in his 50s from Hazlemere, Bucks.
All known to each other."One resident living within the Orchard House complex and who wished to remain unnamed, said: "I woke up to armed officers with guns, going bang bang bang and I saw forensic science officers later. "Locals said they had spotted a police helicopter hovering overhead during the early hours of the morning.Forensics officers have been at the scene since last night, with witnesses reporting that armed police had descended on the address last night.Detectives believe it was a "targeted attack", but say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the three deaths.A spokesperson from developers Red Kite Housing told the Daily Express: "We are aware of an incident at one of our sheltered schemes, Orchard House in Bourne End."We are currently working with the police to help assist with their investigation."Thames Valley Police has said there is not believed to be a 'wider danger to the public' as a result of the incident.A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "Thames Valley Police is on the scene of a serious incident in Spring Gardens, Bourne End.
