mum has slammed council bosses for changing the driver who takes her autistic son to and from school, arguing that the change will damage his education and affect his wellbeing.
Dahlia Morris' 14-year-old son Jake requires a driver funded by the council to take him to school from his home in Knutsford, Cheshire, each day.
Dahlia, 41, states that it took a great length of time for Jake to get used to his driver, and over the course of the school year, the pair had built up a strong bond.Manchester Evening News reports that Jake's driver lost out on his contract with him after it was put out to tender this summer.
