A grieving mother told of her agony as her five-year-old boy died of brain cancer after doctors reportedly sent him home with paracetamol for flu.
Deb Stead, 47, said little Aiden Stead-Homans died in her arms after his nine-month cancer battle. The first sign he had was swelling in the knee - but he'd told his mum he had stepped on a toy car at his gran's home.
Deb said several doctors had sent him home before an MRI scan revealed he had cancer – but tragically it was too late. Aiden underwent chemotherapy but sadly deteriorated until his family were given the devastating news that his illness was terminal and he only had two days to live.
