A mum who was left battered and bleeding said she "knew she had to run" after a man's "eyes changed". Stacie Davis, 39, was punched to the ground, kicked and stamped on in a random attack on Tuesday.
The mum-of-five was left with two black eyes, cuts, bruises and extensive swelling to her head after the assault and was treated in hospital.
Stacie said she was heading out for a walk to the shops when she saw a man coming out of a block of flats in Litherland, Merseyside.
