ASDA shoppers praise diverse new characters on nostalgic Matey bubble bath bottles

Supermarket giant ASDA has been praised by shoppers for stocking a more diverse range of iconic 90s bubble bath Matey. Matey bubble bath was a bath time staple back in the 80s and 90s, and originally started out as a pirate brand.

Nineties babies will remember the bottles which featured a pirate and a mermaid, while a third bottle looked like a little blonde sailor.

Shoppers have been over the moon to discover bottles featuring Black and Muslim characters - one of which wears a hijab. The bottles will make sure more kids than ever will feel included at bath time, and that hasn't gone amiss with shoppers.
