The tragic incident happened on Bolton Road West at around 1.40am. Sadly, despite the best efforts of emergency services, 35-year-old Marukh, of Worsley Street, Radcliffe, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An inquest into her death was opened at Rochdale Coroner’s Court today on Friday (December 11). It heard how the driver lost control while trying to negotiate a bend and the vehicle left the carriageway.
