manchestereveningnews.co.ukdirect to your inbox A man has died after collapsing on a bus in Trafford. Paramedics were called to Stockport Road, in Timperley, at 10.30am this morning (Wednesday) following reports of a person having collapsed.
Police officers also attended the scene an hour later. The man, who was in his 80s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was temporarily closed between Shaftesbury Avenue and Park Road while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Greater Manchester Police say there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death.A report is being prepared for the coroner.Stockport Road was reopened by 2pm.
