A 42 year old woman who was tragically killed in a shooting in East London has been named. Residents claim Lianne Gordon was trying to protect someone in Vine Close, Hackney, when she was shot.
The shooting took place around 6.30pm on Tuesday (December 5), with neighbours reporting hearing "four or five gunshots". Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene, but sadly, Lianne did not survive.
Two other people, a young man of 20 and a boy of 16, were also injured in the attack and taken to hospital. The police have confirmed their injuries are not life-threatening, MyLondon reports. No arrests have yet been made. One neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous, expressed his fear following the incident. He said: "I heard gunshots.
