Detectives investigating the death of a dad-of-two mowed down outside a Marks & Spencer in Surrey believe he knew his alleged attack.
Surrey Police have opened a murder probe into the death of scaffolder Matthew Tester, known locally as Tik, who died in the incident in Walton-on-Thames on Friday.
Police say the victim, 49, and another man also aged in his 40s, were struck by a white BMW in the supermarket's car park in broad day light.
Mr Tester died at the scene, and the second man was rushed to hospital, where he is expected to recover from his injuries. On Friday police clarified that investigators were not treating it as a 'road rage' incident.
