Gary Neville slammed Mohamed Salah for being “greedy” and “selfish” in the second half of Liverpool ’s win over Arsenal. Salah snatched a chance away from Diogo Jota as the new signing searched for his first Liverpool goal.
Jota appeared set to put the game to bed as the ball looked to drop to him in acres of space in the box only for Salah to try and nick it for a chance of his own only to lose possession.
Whilst Salah’s blushes were spared by Jota grabbing a vital third goal moments later, Neville warned Salah “you can’t do that” in his post-match analysis.
Neville said on Sky Sports: “That is the selfish part of his game. “He’s thought, ‘you’re not having a goal already’ and taken it off of him.
