Millie Bobby Brown is starring in and executive producing a new original movie for Netflix.The 16-year-old actress has been cast in Damsel, according to a Wednesday report from Deadline.The Stranger Things breakout star will portray Princess Elodie, who believes she will be married to a prince and instead finds out that she is to be sacrificed to a dragon.

Making strides: Millie Bobby Brown will both executive produce and star in the upcoming Netflix original movie Damsel; seen in OctoberThe film will be directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo from a script written by Dan Mazeau.Fresnadillo was previously nominated for the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film in 1996.A release date for the film has not been set at this time.
