Kelela is in a reinterpretive mood. Earlier this month, the electronic R&B singer-songwriter shared RAVE:N, The Remixes, a collection of tracks inspired by her 2023 album (one of our favorites of the year) by artists including Loraine James, Shygirl, Yaeji, and Bambii.

Back in October Kelela announced a remix album to accompany this year's Raven. Today it has been confirmed that RAVE:N, The Remixes will be released on February 9 and include contributions from artists including Shygirl, Yaeji, Liv.e, BbyMutha, LSDXOXO, and Loraine James among others.

Loraine James, the London-based experimental electronic producer behind last year's Reflection, has announced a brand new alias: Whatever The Weather. Described as "ambient-minded" in a press release, Whatever The Weather will debut with its self-titled debut album on April 8 via Ghostly.
