IDLES have announced the special guests for their homecoming Bristol Block Party, a two-night festival in August.In November, the punk band revealed plans for the event, which will see them take over Queen Square on August 1 and 2, the first mass live music concerts at the site in over two decades. Latitude Festival has announced another wave of acts for its 2025 edition – check out the line-up below.The event is due to take place at Henham Park in Suffolk between July 24 and July 27. Glastonbury‘s charity partner Greenpeace has announced its programme for this year’s festival, promising to “change hearts and minds” and encourage “protest, activism and voting” ahead of the UK’s General Election.This year’s Greenpeace Field is set to focus on three “central pillars” for “effective climate action” – protest, activism and voting. The General Election will take place the week after Glastonbury on July 4.“Greenpeace is uniting the British public to push the next government – whoever it is – to take climate change seriously,” the charity said in a press release.The charity have also launched a campaign called Project Climate Vote, which is aiming to raise awareness of how voting is “the most impactful action you can take for the climate”.
