Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. Markle was raised in Los Angeles, California and has a mixed ethnic heritage. During her studies at Northwestern University, she began playing small roles in television series and films. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. She is an outspoken feminist and has addressed issues of gender inequality, and her lifestyle website The Tig featured a column profiling influential women. She represented international charity organizations and received recognition for her fashion and style, releasing a line of clothing in 2016.
Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sent shockwaves around the world when they decided to step back from the Royal Family and relocate to the US.Ronnie Wood's ex-wife Jo, 67, has spoken out about her thoughts on their decision to move to Montecito, Los Angeles and step down as senior royals.She told Express.co.uk: "They can do what they want, they're young, they're free."Whatever they want to do, it's not it's not up to me to have an opinion about what they do, it's not my business."Jo's comments comes eight years after her ex-husband Ronnie joked that Harry warned him off his girlfriend at the time Cressida Bonas at Glastonbury festival.Recalling the encounter at the Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards, Wood recounted: "He introduced me to his bird."I gave her a cuddle and he said, 'Oi, get your hands off'.

It was great to see him."Harry and Meghan moved over to the US back in 2020 after spending more time in Canada, with the pair making the announcement two years ago.A statement at the time read: "After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution."We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen."It continued: "It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment."We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages."Meghan and Harry now live in California with their two children, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and Lilibet.
