Kylian Mbappe's signing on bonus at Real Madrid is bigger than the world-record transfer fee from 13 years ago.The French forward has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer once his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of the season.

He is also reportedly set to receive a staggering amount as a reward for signing a deal with the Spanish giants, which is even larger than the world-record transfer fee from as recent as 2009.Marca report that Mbappe will be paid €80million as part of his signing bonus, which equates to around £67.2million.The world-record transfer fee only surpassed this in the summer of 2009 when Real Madrid paid £80million to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United.Prior to that transfer, the record was the £56million Los Blancos had paid AC Milan for Kaka earlier in the same window, a fee which is over £11million less than Mbappe's reported signing bonus.The record has since been broken a further three times and is currently £198million, which was paid by PSG to sign Neymar from Barcelona back in 2017.Should Kylian Mbappe move to Real Madrid in the summer?
