A man who left his jumper behind at a bar said he went back to retrieve it the next day, only to find one of the staff members wearing it.

The man was out in Cork, Ireland and said he left his sweater in the city's "most versatile venue", Crane Lane Theatre. He said he contacted the bar and then went to the venue to get the garment when they told him that someone claimed it, only for him to spot one of the staffers wearing it.The man, who goes by the Twitter moniker @TheFitzmeister, wrote on the site: "I went into a certain bar in Cork City and left my jumper, so I rang them the next day and they said they had it. "So I went in to get it and they said someone claimed it already and I turned around and one of the staff was wearing it hahahahahhaa."He added: "I’m not gonna name the bar… but it was Rebekah Vardy."He then said: "Nah it was Crane Lane," later adding that he didn't challenge the staff member because he was "too flabbergasted by the whole situation",.Other people in the thread shared similar experiences, with one man saying: "Happened me years ago.

Left my phone. Called it next day guy answered and said they had it. Perfect, be in in 10 to collect it. "Was in there within 15 minutes, got there and barman said they didn't have it!""Had similar scenario.

Left my fave jacket in a pub - one of the bar staff constantly wearing it around town. "I felt like Nine Inch Nails with Johnny Cash, that jacket became her jacket, she wore it better than me, I was happy to surrender it," another person said, referencing Cash making the band's hit, Hurt, even more popular.
