A vulnerable dad-of-two who died eight days after being restrained outside a Trafford pub was 'unlawfully killed', a jury has ruled.
Gavin Brown, who had paranoid schizophrenia, died at Salford Royal Hospital eight days after an altercation outside The Melville Hotel in Stretford.
The 29-year-old had been kept in an induced coma, but died as a result of brain damage which followed a cardiac arrest suffered 'in the context of physical restraint', jurors said at South Manchester Coroners Court today (December 6).
