Rangnick, who worked in Moscow before joining United in November, has backed UEFA's decision to move the Champions League Final from Russia to France.And he has called on world leaders to find a solution to the escalating conflict in eastern Europe.The German coach said: "The situation is desperately sad."I think everybody will think similarly about that, it's just an incredible situation that we have a kind of war in Europe.

And therefore, the decision UEFA took (to move the Champions League final from St Petersburg to Paris) was inevitable and it was the right decision."I think everybody has the same opinion about what's happening there.

This is just a human disaster what's happening there for all the people involved."Right now, as far as I can tell, in Russia and Moscow it's still safe, but the whole situation is desperately sad.
