Bernardo Silva successfully told his Man City teammates how to stop Cristiano Ronaldo before November's Manchester derby between the two sides.
Bernardo faced his Portuguese national team captain for the first time at Old Trafford earlier this season, with Manchester United and Ronaldo stifled in that comfortable 2-0 victory for Pep Guardiola's side.
Ronaldo had United's only shot on target in the lifeless performance from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men, as Bernardo added to an Eric Bailly own goal to pile pressure onto the beleaguered Norwegian.
The City midfielder had previously praised Ronaldo's start to life back at United and told his teammates to deprive the forward of the ball at Old Trafford.
