Former England midfielder John Barnes believes Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford would be a "good fit" for Liverpool - but has rubbished the possibility of him sealing a move to Anfield.

Rashford, who has scored five goals in 23 appearances for United this term, has struggled for form in recent months and a lot of debate has been created about his future.

He is out-of-contract at Old Trafford in the summer of 2023, but the club has the option of an additional year. He has looked a shadow of his usual self in recent months and his lack of form has been concerning, so much so that interim manager Ralf Rangnick, following the 1-0 FA Cup win over Aston Villa back in January, admitted that he did not know why he was struggling so much.
