Man Utd ace Luke Shaw still struggling with problems from 2015 leg break

Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick has revealed that Luke Shaw is still suffering from his horrific leg break in 2015.Shaw was not part of the United squad who travelled to Merseyside on Saturday afternoon in a losing effort to Everton.

Rangnick said: “We had to take him off at half-time and he's having problems with his leg where had his operation back in 2015.“Yeah, the doctor told me that they decided to remove that metal thing in his leg, there are two bolts that need to be removed and this will happen tomorrow and that means he will be out for the next two or three weeks."Shaw suffered a double leg break in United's Champions League clash with PSV on the opening matchday in 2015.

The England fullback, then 20, received on-pitch treatment for ten minutes, even having to receive oxygen, before he was carried from the pitch on a stretcher.

It took Shaw a year to recover from the injury, but the blow is still troubling him seven years later.Shaw will now be out of action for the next three weeks as he recovers from his latest setback. Is Luke Shaw United's best full-back?
