Manchester City are reportedly considering Mauricio Pochettino to take over from Pep Guardiola if the Spaniard does not extend his contract.
Pep is entering the final year of his current deal at the Etihad and as yet has given no indication of his desire to stay past that.
Club bosses would ideally prefer the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss to sign fresh terms, but back-up plans are being discussed.
And, according to The Sun , Pochettino is a name that is being mentioned as someone who could replace him. The 48-year-old has been without a club since he was sacked by Tottenham last November.
