Manchester City have reportedly identified Mauricio Pochettino as a candidate to take over from Pep Guardiola at the Etihad.
Guardiola's future with City is uncertain after the club once again failed to progress beyond the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
The Spaniard has not reached the last four of the competition since taking over as Sky Blues boss in 2015, while his contract with the club expires next year.
Though the City hierarchy would like Guardiola, 49, to extend his deal, they are aware he is yet to commit his future to the club and have identified Pochettino as a potential replacement, according to The Sun .
