Police have arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of section 18 assault. Bowden Street in Denton was cordoned off by police following the incident at 11.55pm on Sunday following reports that a car was deliberately aimed at a pedestrian.
The incident is thought to have happened outside the Denton Liberal Club building, near an estate agent's offices. Forensics experts were sent to the scene to look for clues and a police tent was erected in Bowden Street..
