Weapons, cars and 'significant quantities' of drugs have all been seized as part of a major crackdown on crime in Oldham. Greater Manchester Police made 17 arrests as part of Operation Vortex, which is targeting drug-fuelled violence and anti-social behaviour across the borough.
Weapons - including a machete, an axe and three knives - were all seized as part of the huge haul recovered by officers in the one-day operation last Friday (December 3).
