M&S and Tesco issue urgent product recalls on microwave meals and festive nuts

dailyrecord.co.ukThe Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued product recall notices for certain items purchased from Marks and Spencer and Tesco which may pose a possible health risk for anyone with certain allergies.
Tesco is recalling Tesco Finest Festive Fruit & Nut Selection because some packs have been mis-packed in Tesco Finest Festive Dark Chocolate Brazil Nuts packaging where sulphur dioxide is not mentioned on the label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites - the correctly packed product is not affected by this recall.Tesco has also contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their members about the recall.
