Lukas Podolski has given his take on slapping German team-mate Michael Ballack on the pitch. The former Gunners scored nearly 50 goals in 130 appearances for his country over 13 years.
He was part of the World Cup-winning side in 2014 as well as the team that made the semi-finals in South Africa four years earlier.
But his most infamous moment came in a game leading up to the 2010 tournament, getting involved in a spat with captain Ballack.
With the Germans leaden Wales 2-0 after 67 minutes, the Chelsea legend tried to give Podolski tactical instruction only for the forward to slap him on the cheek.
