Jose Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea for the first time back in 2007, and Michael Ballack has now admitted that he and his fellow players needed to take some of the blame.
The Portuguese had led the Blues to their first two Premier League titles after joining from Porto back in 2004, but Roman Abrahmovic grew frustrated after a disappointing 2006/07 campaign led to Manchester United taking top spot.
Ballack joined from Bayern Munich on a free transfer in 2006 having impressed in Germany, but only got to work under Mourinho for one full season before the manager left the club.
He has now admitted that he feels partly responsible for the departure, having worked under five different managers in London by the time he left for Bayer
