The Premier League is believed to be edging closer to a return under ’Project Restart’, while a meeting was held between players the PFA and government experts on Wednesday to debate a return to training as soon as next week.
No firm return date to resume the season has been set yet, but it was claimed that Spurs boss Mourinho was insistent that players needed at least one month of training before football could resume.
However, in a statement released by Tottenham, Mourinho completely rebuked that, praising the way his players have been training from home during the lockdown.
