GFRIEND are set to reunite for their tenth anniversary, agency Source Music has confirmed.Today (September 24), K-pop agency Source Music confirmed in a statement that GFRIEND will reunite next year in celebration of the girl group’s tenth anniversary. It comes nearly four years after the sextet disbanded in May 2021, after over six years together.“GFRIEND will meet fans through a special project next January to celebrate their tenth debut anniversary,” Source Music said in a statement, per Korea JoongAng Daily.

Coldplay have announced they will expand their ‘Music Of The Spheres’ tour to Asia.The biggest rock tour of all time will continue its reign in 2025, where it’s set to visit Abu Dhabi, Mumbai, Hong Kong and Seoul.It will be Coldplay’s first full-length headline touring performance in India after their 2016 appearance at Global Citizen Festival. The new dates will also see the band return to Hong Kong for the first time since 2009.

ADOR, Min Hee-jin, has filed a court injunction seeking reappointment as an internal director for the company board.On September 13, a representative of Min released a statement to press announcing that the music executive had filed for an injunction for an “extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to reappoint Min Hee-jin as an internal director of ADOR with the Seoul Central District Court”.“The dismissal of former CEO Min Hee-jin is a violation of the shareholders’ agreement and contradicts the court’s decision to prohibit the exercise of voting rights,” the statement read, as translated by Soompi. “Considering the need for an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to reappoint [Min Hee-jin as] ADOR’s director by November 2, 2024 and the court’s review period for the injunction, we applied for an injunction to reappoint former CEO Min Hee Jin as a director of ADOR and then appoint her as CEO.”According to the statement, Min was guaranteed a five-year term as ADOR’s CEO and an internal director of the ADOR board of directors under the shareholders’ agreement.

BTS rapper RM is set to release a documentary film called RM: Right People, Wrong Place, named after his May solo album.According to a press release on September 4, the movie is set to “explore the candid journey of BTS’ leader RM as he navigates the complexities of being a global superstar and the person Kim Nam-joon [RM’s given name].” The press release also noted that the film will “chronicle the eight months leading up to RM’s military enlistment”.RM: Right People, Wrong Place will be primarily set in the locations where “RM intensely worked on his album”, taking viewers “on a journey through Seoul, Tokyo and London, offering an in-depth look at the creative process behind RM’s second solo album”.Lee Seok-jun, who previously worked with BTS bandmate J-hope on his music videos for solo songs ‘Arson’ and ‘More’, will be the director behind RM’s upcoming solo feature film. Hellbound actor Yoo Ah-in has been sentenced to a year in prison for drug use, in violation of South Korea’s Narcotics Control Act, after an 11-month trial.The 38-year-old actor, best known for his lead role in season one of Netflix’s Hellbound, was charged with the illegal use of propofol, used primarily as a medical anaesthetic, under the guise of cosmetic procedures on 181 occasions between 2020 and 2022.Yoo was also found guilty of buying 1,100 sleeping pills with false prescriptions written for other names and smoking marijuana while in the US. Despite having been tried for coercing his accomplices to withdraw their testimonies, he was eventually not found guilty of the crime due to a lack of evidence.As a result, the Seoul Central District Court sentenced the actor today (September 3) to a year in prison and imposed a fine of KRW2million (approximately £1,220).
