BTS’ RM announces ‘RM: Right People, Wrong Place’ documentary film

BTS rapper RM is set to release a documentary film called RM: Right People, Wrong Place, named after his May solo album.According to a press release on September 4, the movie is set to “explore the candid journey of BTS’ leader RM as he navigates the complexities of being a global superstar and the person Kim Nam-joon [RM’s given name].” The press release also noted that the film will “chronicle the eight months leading up to RM’s military enlistment”.RM: Right People, Wrong Place will be primarily set in the locations where “RM intensely worked on his album”, taking viewers “on a journey through Seoul, Tokyo and London, offering an in-depth look at the creative process behind RM’s second solo album”.Lee Seok-jun, who previously worked with BTS bandmate J-hope on his music videos for solo songs ‘Arson’ and ‘More’, will be the director behind RM’s upcoming solo feature film.

RM: Right People, Wrong Place has also been selected for a premiere at this year’s Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
