The project marked the girl group’s first release in four years, after they left long-time agency Source Music and went on hiatus.In a new interview with The Korea Times, GFRIEND discussed how they came together for the anniversary release and what has changed about their dynamic in the past four years.“Whenever we met, we naturally talked about our 10th anniversary and had confidence that we would gather again someday,” they said.

K-pop girl group GFRIEND have reunited to perform a medley of some of their most popular hits.In the latest episode of Dingo Music’s Killing Voice series,GFRIEND – who have been inactive since their contract with Source Music ended in 2021 – came together to perform their hit songs live ahead of their upcoming 10th anniversary release.GFRIEND kicked off the performance with their debut single ‘Glass Bead’, following up with their early hits ‘Me Gustas Tu’ and ‘Navillera’. They went on to sing some of their later singles, including ‘Crossroads’, ‘Apple’ and their last single ‘Mago’.Other songs the group sang include singles like ‘Fingertip’, ‘Summer Rain’, ‘Rough’ and ‘Time for the Moon Night’, the Korean version of Japanese single ‘Flower’.

K-pop girl group VIVIZ have made a comeback with a new single titled ‘Shhh!’.On November 7, VIVIZ released their fifth mini-album ‘Voyage’ and a music video for its lead single ‘Shhh!’. The new visual opens in a moody bedroom as the trio get dressed up for a night out.

GFRIEND are set to reunite for their tenth anniversary, agency Source Music has confirmed.Today (September 24), K-pop agency Source Music confirmed in a statement that GFRIEND will reunite next year in celebration of the girl group’s tenth anniversary. It comes nearly four years after the sextet disbanded in May 2021, after over six years together.“GFRIEND will meet fans through a special project next January to celebrate their tenth debut anniversary,” Source Music said in a statement, per Korea JoongAng Daily.

GFRIEND recently reunited at VIVIZ’s concert in Seoul over the weekend.On June 1 and 2, K-pop trio VIVIZ (formed by ex-GFRIEND singers Eunha, SinB and Umji) kicked off their ‘V.hind Love and Tears’ world tour at the KBS Arena in Seoul. K-pop trio VIVIZ have made a comeback with their new single ‘Maniac’, from their latest mini-album ‘Versus’.The ‘Maniac’ visual features the group as they take a drive into a dreamy field, where they later dance to the new track. Elsewhere in the video, VIVIZ appear in moody solo scenes as they sing about a turbulent romance.“This love is maniac, maniac, maniac / And I’m okay with it, okay with it, okay with it / In the end, we can’t understand this love either / It’s maniac, maniac, maniac,” they sing in the chorus.In addition to ‘Maniac’, the new project also includes the tracks ‘Untie’, ‘Overflow’, ‘Day by Day’ and ‘Up 2 Me’.

VIVIZ, ONEUS and more are set to perform at Kimchi Festival Canada next month.Over the weekend, Kimchi Festival Canada announced its first line-up of artists on its official Instagram page. The upcoming festival will feature appearances by girl group VIVIZ, boyband ONEUS, ex-Wonder Girls member Sunye, rapper Cheetah, duo 6band and DJ Flash Finger.Kimchi Festival Canada will be held at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan from June 23 to 24.

VIVIZ have released the music video for ‘Loveade’, the title track for their sophomore mini-album ‘Summer Vibe’.In the playful visual, each member of VIVIZ is seen preparing to tackle new hobbies. Eunha begins doing warm-ups in a dance studio, SinB sets up her mobile drink stand and Umji practices archery.Despite their best efforts, the girls begin running into issues with their hobbies: Eunha struggles with a specific move, SinB’s blender malfunctions and spills a drink she was preparing, while Umji misses the target board.“The hot sunlight heats up between you and me / Swallow the heart that spilled over a piece of summer / This dizzying tremor, / I won’t miss even a single drop,” the trio sings in the pre-chorus.‘Summer Vibe’ marks VIVIZ’s second release of the year.

VIVIZ are due to make their return with their forthcoming sophomore mini-album ‘Summer Vibe’ next month.Earlier today (June 23), the K-pop trio took to social media to drop a teaser poster announcing their upcoming return to music with a second mini-album, revealed to be titled ‘Summer Vibe’. The image features a beach table with three different coloured cocktails placed atop its surface.

VIVIZ and former SISTAR member Soyou recently shared the stage as part of the girl group’s set at the BNF Festival.During their appearance at the festival, which took place at Olympic Park’s 88 Lake Waterside Stage in Seoul, the two Big Planet Made acts teamed up for a cover of SISTAR’s 2015 hit ‘Shake It’.VIVIZ and Soyou largely stayed true to the original song, with the girl group’s Eunha and Soyou handling most of the verses and chorus.
