Liverpool fans have been left in hysterics after pictures emerged showing Manchester City 'covering up' empty seats. The country's top two sides are battling it out in the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley Stadium on Saturday afternoon just one week on from their entertaining Premier League encounter which ended 2-2.
Thousands of fans from both sides have flocked to the national stadium to watch the game, but it appears one club had some trouble when it came to selling tickets.Pictures have emerged on social media showing a huge Manchester City crest printed onto a banner which has been spread across a section of seats in the upper tier of the 90,000 capacity stadium.
The area appears to be sectioned off, with hundreds of red seats left vacant in the City end.@AnfieldWatch took to Twitter to share the image with fellow Liverpool fans, and said: "Seems Manchester City couldn't sell out their allocation at Wembley this afternoon." Football fans have been left in hysterics and have given their reaction to the picture.One user responded and said: "Looks like they should've made a bigger banner too." Another wrote: "This is utterly embarrassing."One other Reds fan ironically wrote: "Why can't we have a big flag like that?
