Gary Neville labelled Manchester United a "pub team" after his fellow pundit Jamie Carragher poked fun following Thiago Alcantara's performance.

The Liverpudlian posted a video on social media referencing Neville's claim that "Bayern Munich don't let anyone half-decent go", after the Bundesliga champions sold Thiago to Liverpool in 2020.

The Spanish midfielder put in a man-of-the-match performance in Liverpool's 4-0 win over United on Tuesday. Neville was outspoken in his criticism of his former club before, during and after their trip to Anfield as Ralf Rangnick's side looked to dent Jurgen Klopp's title aspirations and hand the advantage to their cross-city rivals Manchester City.

However, Liverpool ran riot at United's expense on a humiliating night for Neville and other United fans.
